On the game release date, 29 September, there's said to be a new league introduced for FIFA 18, but it's definitely not the one you were thinking of.

However, a report from Fox Sports Italy said exactly the opposite, as the gameplay producer of FIFA, Sam Rivera spoke about the difficulties in securing licensing from the mega-rich top tier of football in China, where several elite-level players are plying their trade and more continue to join them.

It seems like several players such as Carlos Tevez, Axel Witsel, Oscar, Alexandre Pato, Hulk, John Obi Mikel, Gervinho and many others won't be featuring this year.

Although Chinese Super League sitll reminds mistory, there is set to be a fresh addition to the upcoming FIFA 18 game, as German outlet Kicker say that the third tier of German football which is known as the 'German. 3 Liga', is to be introduced. Their report notes that a deal between EA and DFB has already been struck and only awaiting an official announcement.

The Bundesliga has been ever present in the FIFA series, as has the 2.Bundesliga.

Teams in the third tier of German football include Karlsruher SC, SC Paderborn, SpVgg Unterhaching, Fortuna K?ln, Hansa Rostock and Werder Bremen's second team.
